I painted this in a time of high anxiety. This piece soothed my soul and reminded me to stay soft and sweet in a time when I was tempted to harden and turn cold. I hope this has the same effect on you. The little Easter eggs in this one are the excerpts from Romeo and Juliet, whose love was as pure and innocent as this painting.
