Playing Koi

Whimsical and innocent, Playing Koi is a mixed media piece painted mostly using acrylic ink! 

Just like koi and goldfish, this painting shines with a golden brilliance when the light hits it just right. And because I was feeling especially playful and silly while painting this one, I put excerpts from Moby Dick. Yes; the whale. You're welcome.
